In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of food delivery apps on the Android platform in Central America showed varied trends. According to Sensor Tower, the top five apps displayed distinct patterns in downloads and active user engagement.

Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery maintained a consistent rise in downloads, starting at approximately 57.9K weekly downloads and reaching a peak of around 75.8K by the end of May. Active users fluctuated, beginning at about 4.2M and experiencing slight variations throughout the quarter.

DiDi Food: Express Delivery saw a strong start with weekly downloads peaking at 74.6K in early April. However, downloads gradually decreased to 52.4K by the end of June. Active users exhibited a similar trend, starting at 3.4M and seeing a gradual decline over the quarter.

Uber Eats: Food and Grocery experienced a steady increase in downloads, reaching around 72.5K by the end of June. Active users grew from 3.6M to over 4.1M, indicating strong user engagement throughout the quarter.

PedidosYa - Delivery Online showed a varied download pattern, with numbers ranging from 38.4K to 63.2K weekly downloads. Active users experienced fluctuations, starting at 935K and peaking at over 1M in late April.

TaDa Delivery de Bebidas MX displayed an interesting trend with downloads spiking to 52.1K in early June, before settling at 24.2K by the end of the month. Active users increased from 216K to 251K, showcasing a growing user base.
